Chrysler group's association with Mercedes allows it to market a successful range of rear wheel drive vehicles which power the Dodge and Chrysler brands. Dodge is also traditionally known to offer plenty of choices in terms of engines. Chrysler has tapped into the Mercedes technology pool and has utilized it to produce quality suspension systems, automatic transmission, and rear differentials for cars such as the Dodge Magnum. This technological association gives the reliability factor of Dodge engines a major boost. The Dodge Magnum came with a choice of being fitted with a 2.7 L V6, the 3.5 L V6 or the even the explosive 5.7 L Hemi V8 which was fitted to the R/T version. Dodge offers a rare choice which not many manufactures offer. Designers at Dodge considered that maybe even the R/T version may not be enough for some Dodge fanatics, so the manufacturer rolled out a 6.1 L Hemi V8 which belts out a whopping 425 horses and 420 lb.ft of torque. Just firm up the suspension, throw in 20 inch aluminum wheels, tune up the brakes and you have the ultimate Magnum.

SWEngines stock a variety of used engines including the 6 cylinder 3.7 liter and V8 5.2 Liter for the 100 Pickup. SWEngines also stock a range of engines for the 150 pickup including the 6 Cylinder 3.9 Liter, V6 3.9 liter, V6 3.9 Liter, V8 5.2 Liter and the 5.9 Liter. The 1500 Pickup is available in three different engine types a 3.7 liter 215 hp, a 4.7 liter V8 which generates 310 hp and a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 which generates 380 hp which replaced the 345 hp 5.7 liter Hemi. The V6 engine is available with both automatic and manual transmission while the Hemi V8's and 4.7 liters are fitted only for the automatic models. They stock the V8 4.7 L Flex Fuel, the V8 5.3 Liter, V8 5.7 Liter Hemi and the V8 5.9 Liter. SWEngines also stock the 6 cylinder Turbo diesel 3.7 Liter engine of the 250 Pickup.
