Jeep is an LMV automobile that is often thought of as one of the tougher makes in the automobile industry. It is one of the oldest vehicles that has been used in sporting events as an SUV brand. The parent vehicle of the jeep is Chrysler LLC.

Jeeps have great abilities and can be used extensively off road. A jeep is designed to provide strong handling in rough terrains. The vehicle has very solid axles that are sturdy and does not break easily. The axles have great articulation that comes in handy when traversing rough territory. A standard size jeep has an engine capacity of 2.8 liters and also has CRD technology. The horsepower for a jeep is around 160 horses with an rpm of 3800. The weight capacity is 300 lb ft. The torque for the vehicle is 1800 rpm.

The engine accessories for both the ‘sports' jeep models and the ‘limited' models are essentially the same. A jeep has a renegade hood and also has tail lamp guards. It consists of a tall grille with fog lamps that can be used for off road adventures. A jeep has crafted rock rails and 4 skid plates to top it off. The terrain tires come in a density of P235/70r16 and the treads are really wide providing more handling ability. The seats are very refined and are made of smooth fabric. Due to their positioning the overhead lights provide more coverage than many of their counterparts.

The suspension of the jeep is mainly “coiled” with a front suspension that is connected to the rear suspension through a link coil. The suspension enhances the engine power and provides more control. A jeep basically has a single speed transmission which provides constant 4WD traction. The transfer case of the vehicle is NV245 that provides great traction control in all types of conditions.

ELSD is the electronic limited slip differential that means superior road capabilities. ELSD allows the vehicle to reach great torque capacities and allows quick shifting during varying surface conditions. The engine models are basically the HEMI, SOHC, V6, and V8 engines. The vehicle also has an MDS system (Multi displacement system). It can deactivate a cylinder which allows for increased acceleration and also enhances fuel efficiency that contributes to better performance. Because of this, fuel efficiency can be increased by approx. 20 percent.
