The latest mercury Capri engine has a 6 cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.5 Litres. The Mercury 312 has a piston of 312 inches and its valve is located at the ‘In head’. The wheel base of 312 engines is 119 and the compressing ratio is overdrive and standard trans. The ratio of the bore and stroking is 3.8 x 3.5. Torque of 312 in 2600 rpm is standard in this model. The oil pressure of the engine block is 50 and creates an auto transmission of 8.4. The length of the spark plug is .032 inches and it has a three degree marking.
