Used Chevy 20 Engines

In 1960 General Motors introduced a new designation for its truck models. The Chevy 20 was a 3/4 ton model with a range of engines to choose from. The most popular was the 150 hp (112 kW) 261 in³ (4.3 L) straight 6 chevy 20 engine.

The chevy 20 engine was durable and dependable and many original owners have passed these fine vehicles onto their children and grandchildren.The Chevy engine has proven its value time and again,with consumers placing it at the top in popularity for its class and size.

While newer and bigger engines have come along, the 4.3L straight 6 engine never really faded from popularity. Even today these engines are still on the road and the 60′s versions are being restored by collectors all over the country. used Chevy 10 engines

The Chevy 10 was first introduced in 1960 with a 4.3 liter straight 6 and a 4.6 liter V8 engine with 185 horsepower. The Chevy 10 series was produced from 1960 until 1998 and saw radical changes to both body and engine design. Many of the new concepts Chevrolet introduced with this series produced sweeping changing throughout the auto industry.

1975 saw the Chevy 10 series introduce the 185 hp 400 cu in (6.6L) V8 engine. Chevrolet had long envisioned trucks being viewed as vehicles for everyday use rather than just for work and were now seeing this become reality. With the dependability of the Chevy V8 and increased cab size, previous Chevy owners were coming back to the Chevy 10 as much for personal use as they ever had for work.


Used Chevrolet 1500 engines

The Chevrolet 1500 is a series of light duty trucks produced under the names Silverado and Sierra. The 1500 comes in 3 different cab lengths, the 2 door, the 2 and 3 door extended cab and the 4 door crew cab.

The Chevy 1500 engine is actually the General Motors engine, Vortec and is manufactured in 4 different sizes. The smaller Vortec 4300 V6 engine is available in the regular cab only and is the smallest of the line.

The Silverado SS in a high performance version of the Chevy 1500 with upgrades in the interior and exterior appearances. In 2003, the Chevrolet Silverado SS was introduced with a much larger V8 engine, the 6.0l Vortec 6000 which has an output of 300 horsepower.


Used MDX Engines

Now known the world over for luxury and dependability, in 2001 the first Acura MDX suv was introduced. The 2001 MDX engine had a 240-hp, 3.5-liter V6 combined with an all-wheel-drive system. Built on the same platform as the Honda Odyssey and the Honda Pilot.

Used Legend Engines

The Acura Legend was the first vehicle marketed under the nameplate Acura. The Acura Legend engine is fast and sporty with a 230 hp (172 kW) “Type II” version of the SOHC C32A Acura engine standard on all coupes, along with a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Acura legend was first manufactured in 1986 and came in both the sedan and coupe. Acura Legend parts are still available and used engines for the Acura Legend provide an excellent alternative to buying a new car.

In 1991 the 2nd generation Acura Legend engine was introduced, the 200 hp (150 kW) SOHC c32a) engine was offered as either a standard 5-speed manual or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission.
