The horsepowerâ€™s peak rpm of 6500rpm, high for a V6, is offset by 200lb/ft of torque available at a low of 2000rpm. On the road this means the thrill of a sweeping rpm needle when pressed, but enough low end torque for sedate motoring expected from a BMW.
