Engine as described, installed and is performing well. Satisfied

Engine traded out fine a slight tick upon startup but fades. Did have the timing belt, water pump and thermostat newly installed at engine switch. Have already did the 1000 mi oil change. Rolling good. Warm weather has set in and it's time to vacation and ride. I'm confident my 10,000 mile review will be favorable.

I received a engine for my 2004 Dodge Dakota the end of April and she is purring like a cat! The staff of SW engine are very nice and helpful. If I ever need a engine again, I know who to call!

The engine was delivered promptly and is running flawlessly so far after seven thousand miles. Very satisfied.

Good looking motor was painted not salt eaton like the last one. They dont give enough time to put it in before the warranty has to be validated specially when your doing the change yourself. Took almost a month for it to ship and no paperwork about what the motor came out of or the year size mileage ect was with it at all I had to call for information.

Hello swengines, it took a little longer than I expected to receive the engine! And their were a couple of things I had to change on it, but I have been running it in my truck for a few days now and its running great!! Thanks for your business and I hope that if I have any problem with it in the future, you will help me resolve the issues!!

Purchased a car for my daughter approximately one month ago,one week later the motor goes.contacted sw engines and purchased a motor,two weeks later I had my motor delivered and installed. The car runs great and my daughter is ecstatic and I am very pleased. From the customer service to the delivery of my engine I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Just need to contact them about paperwork on engine mileage in case I sell car down the road.. Bill King

I had some problems with my order and stop with the Big A (he knows who he is) several times. He was NEVER rude to me any of the times I called. He helped me with my problem and was a complete angel. He is a blessing to deal with. I told him I would remember him in my nightly prayers which I will. If I could have fit my fat butt through the phone line I would have hugged his neck! I am not going to use his name because I don't want him swamped with calls.You are my new best friend!! AND PEOPLE OUT THERE I DO NOT KNOW THESE PEOPLE PERSONALLY AND AM NOT GETTING PAYED TO LEAVE MY EXPERIENCE FOR YOU TO READ.

I have ordered twice from SW, once from SWENGINES and once from SWTRANSMISSIONS. While considerably better prices are out there I chose SW both times because of the offered warranty and the number of testimonies I could find on 3rd party sites. I award only 3 stars for the following reasons: 1. On the multiple occasions I called into customer service for questions or concerns the representatives were always largely unhelpful, rude or dismissive. You need phone reps who know how to smile, listen to the caller's concerns and assist with a positive and non-dismissive attitude. 2. Prices are not very competitive. 3. Your "we will consider all reasonable offers" statement is a sham. I was only $250 short on my last purchase which yes is my problem, but my offer of that amount less than the quote price was rejected because, "We can not accept any offer that is below the initial online quote price. " Why don't you simply cut the crap and come out with it honestly and say, "The price is the price. " 4. Your order processing times (not transit to destination speed) are excessive. The average processing time for my two orders was twenty-two calendar days. I know your products are not light weight and are bulky but that is to much. I could have elected to have my engine completely rebuilt in half that time. For now I will continue to shop with SW for one simple reason, your products have not yet failed on me. You guys have some polishing to do.

The customer service was a little below average. My email was never responded to and getting in contact with a rep over the phone was time consuming. The process for my paperwork to be completed and engine shipped was also below average. I was told it would be shipped in a few days, however, 8 days later the paperwork was still being processed (possibly forgotten about). The paperwork was completed immediately when I called asking about it and the rep at that time was very helpful in passing my message on.

i recently purchased a motor from southwest engine and so far its been a good buy im almost ready to buy another one from them if i can get the price reduced by two hundred bucks ill jump on it . but nothing but good things to say about this company!!!!

So far so good. I have put about 2000 miles on the engine and it's running great. Make sure you read all the warranty instructions because it is not automatic, there are things you have to do to activate it. I still don't no if my warranty is good, because I made mistakes. I tried contacting them but didn't hear back.

Found SWEngines simply by searching the web for used engines. I reviewed several sites but only called SWEngines. I placed my order on November 23rd - right in front of the Thanksgiving Holiday. The order process was very simple and complete. Per the tracking system, the engine was not picked up for shipment until December 4th with an expected delivery date of December 10th. It arrived in Portland, OR on the 9th - tracking changed the delivery to the 11th, then the 14th. I called the local terminal and it appeared to just be setting on their dock. Engine finally arrive on the 17th. Of course now my mechanic had changed his schedule and put others ahead of me, then add the Christmas Holiday. Warranty says engine must be installed within 10-days of delivery. I could see a problem - I emailed SWEngines asking for some relief on the 10-day timeframe - never received a response. I called SWEngines and was told that the day before Christmas and the day before New Year would not count. My mechanic rushed and the engine was installed within the allowed timeframe. The engine arrived looking like a brand new engine - mechanic was impressed. Engine has just past the first 1000 miles and is running very smooth. Suggestion - when purchasing, allow a little more time for delivery than what SWEngines says will be the delivery date. SWEngines needs to monitor the independent shipping companies that they use - expedited delivery should be noted and part of the program. From order date to engine installed - 37 calendar days. The Transaction was smooth and professional. The price was competitive and they actually wash and inspect the engine opposed to just pulling, crating, shipping.

I was looking for a used engine & went on line,after looking at a few web sites & speaking with a few people from there posted sites I found SW Engines...following there prompt's & answering some questions they had what I was looking for,I requested a vin # & they emailed it to me rather quickly & I had some "history" on the engine & it was exactly what I was hoping for...I purchased the engine & had it shipped across the country to my mechanic at his repair shop...I was able to track the shipment of the engine on line & let my mechanic know when it would arrive... my experience so far has been a good one!!!.

I would recommend this company to anyone! I am from North Carolina and had some reservations about dealing with a company so far away, but it was as advertised. They were professional and accurate with their time of delivery and the product was in excellent condition. I am 100% satisfied with the product. My only complaint is with the warranty department. When I activated my warranty, I called in several times trying leaving messages for someone to followup with me to make sure that everything went through, so if I ever needed to use my warranty there would not be any issues, but I was never given a call or email. Other than that I would give this company a thumps up and will definitely use and refer other for their services.
